Room #03

Welcome to Mrs. Snyder’s Preschool!

Beginning preschool is a very exciting time, but it can also be very intimidating for you and your child.  Your little one will be away from home alone, possibly for the first time.  You will surely be thinking about them all day while they are gone.  I want to assure you that they will be in good hands, and we will keep your child safe, engaged and happy to the best of our ability.

Our #1 goal in preschool is to assure that your child loves school!

This year, I am co-teaching with Mrs. Laurie McCann.  Our paraprofessionals are Mrs Grace Lutner and Ms. Amna Sadiq.  We are very much looking forward to getting to know your family, especially your little preschooler!  I will start by giving you a little background on myself.  My name is Mrs. Susan Snyder.  I have been teaching preschool in Bellmawr for 22 years.  I started my educational journey as a little five year old girl in Kindergarten in at Bellmawr Park, went on to Bell Oaks and Triton, and graduated from Rowan University, School of Education.  I hold NJ state certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and I have additional coursework in Early Childhood.
I've been married for 30 years to my best friend, Bob, and we have two awesome children! Our daughter Darby is 23, a recent graduate of UCF with a Character Animation degree... she created our beloved ECC Bumblebee Mascot,  "Dar-bee"!   Our son Brady is 20, and attends UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management, and is currently employed by Disney.

My family loves all things Disney!

My teaching style is influenced by Disney as well.                                                                It’s summed up in a few of Walt’s quotes:

Embrace diversity:
The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique.”

Explore your world:                                                                                                    “We "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
Build self-confidence:
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

Looking forward to teaching your unique, curious, and courageous little dreamers.
